Gardaí have renewed their appeal for information in relation to the missing person's case of Mark Duffy on the third anniversary of his disappearance.

Mark 'Rubber' Duffy, as he was known locally, disappeared from his home in Navan, Co Meath, on 3 October 2022.

Mr Duffy, who was 43 at the time, was seen when he went to the post office in Johnstown Shopping Centre at 10.50am.

Later that day, at around 2.45pm, he was last seen walking on the Commons Road in Navan and headed in the direction of McDermott Villas, which leads onto Parnell Park.

Mr Duffy was subsequently reported missing on 13 October by a family member who became concerned when she had not heard from him.

A garda investigation was launched and it was established that there had been no sightings of him since 3 October, nor had his phone been used.

It was also established that he had not left the country.

However, despite extensive investigations, there have still been no sightings of Mr Duffy or evidence of his whereabouts.

Three years to the day that he went missing, gardaí have renewed their appeal for anyone with any information on his disappearance to come forward.

Mr Duffy is described as being 1.72m (5'8") tall and of medium build with brown hair and blue eyes.

When last seen, he was wearing dark clothing with a cream hoodie underneath.
