A man in his 20s has been arrested in connection with a fatal road crash in Co Louth.
Three people were killed in the two-car collision on the N1 near Carrickarnan in the early hours of yesterday morning.
The man is being held at Dundalk Garda Station.
It is understood two of the victims, a woman in her 80s and her son, who was in his 50s, were from Bessbrook in Co Armagh, and were travelling in one of the cars.
One of the occupants of the other car involved was also killed.
