Further searches are taking place in Drogheda, as part of the investigation into the murder of 17-year-old Keane Mulready-Woods.

An area at Oldbridge has been sealed off and the road has been closed.

Earlier this week gardaí carried out searches in the Rathmullen Park area of the town.

Keane was murdered two weeks ago and his body dismembered.

Body parts recovered at two locations in Dublin were confirmed to be those of the teenager.

Last night, detectives appealed for information on the location of Keane's remains, some of which have yet to be located.

Gardaí are asking anyone who has information to come forward, so his family can plan his funeral.

They believe the murder is related to the ongoing feud between two Drogheda criminal gangs, which has now cost three lives.
