Members of the Jewish community will gather at the Mansion House today to mark Hanukkah.
The event is part of a series of inter-faith gatherings to celebrate religious festivals.
It began on Monday when Zen Buddhists celebrated Bodhi Day in the Lord Mayor's Garden.
Yesterday members of the Sikh community held a ceremony; the Hindu, Baha'l, Muslim and Christian communities will also gather over the coming days.
Hanukkah, which means "dedication" in Hebrew, begins on the 25th of Kislev on the Hebrew calendar and usually falls in November or December.
Often called the Festival of Lights, the holiday is celebrated with the lighting of the menorah, traditional foods, games and gifts.
According to the 2016 Irish census, there are now 2,557 Jewish people living in Ireland, with over half of them living in the capital.
