A man has been arrested in connection with the death of a Romanian national who was found injured in a park in Tallaght last week.
The man in his late 30s was detained in the Dublin area as part of the investigation into the death of Ioan Artene Bob.
He is being held for questioning at Tallaght Garda Station.
The 49-year-old man was found with serious injuries in Sean Walsh Park at 8.30am on Friday 13 April.
He was taken to Tallaght Hospital where he later died.
Mr Bob, who was believed to have worked in the construction industry, was last seen in the Moore Street area of Dublin city centre at 8.30pm on Thursday 12 April.
Gardaí believe that he died as a result of an assault.
