A man has died after being found with serious injures in a park in Tallaght, Dublin.
The man, in his 40s, was discovered by a passer-by in Sean Walsh Park shortly before 8am today.
He sustained serious injuries to his chest and body and was taken to Tallaght Hospital, where he died.
The man appears to have been the victim of an assault.
Gardaí are awaiting the results of a post mortem examination, to be carried out tomorrow, to establish the cause of death.
Gardaí have established the man was originally from eastern Europe and are contacting his relatives.
