A 16-year-old boy has been charged with the murder of father-of-four Barry Daly in Doneraile, Co Cork, on Sunday.

He was brought before Midleton District Court this morning.

The boy is the third person, and the second teenager, to be charged with Mr Daly's murder.

He was remanded in custody to Oberstown Children Detention Campus in Dublin.

Neither of the juveniles can be identified because of their age.

Yesterday, Alex Deady, 20, with an address at Glen View, Convent Road in Doneraile, appeared before Mallow District Court charged with Mr Daly's murder.

A 17-year-old boy appeared before the same court, also charged with Mr Daly's murder.

He was pronounced dead after emergency services were called to an incident outside his home in the early hours of Sunday morning.

All three accused will appear before Mallow District Court via video link next Tuesday.
