Two men have appeared this morning before Tralee District Court charged in connection with a joint garda and customs operation off the mid-west and south coasts in the past week.
This brings to seven the number now charged in connection with the operation.
Both men appeared before a sitting of the district court in Tralee before Judge David Waters on a single charge of conspiring to import drugs with others, with a value of more than €13,000 into the State between last Saturday and Monday – 11 and 13 January.

The men were named as 36-year-old Hanz Pangahin and 43-year-old Christopher Ampo, both with addresses in the Phiippines.
The court was told that both men made no reply when they were arrested, charged and cautioned.
They were remanded in custody to appear again before the district court in Tralee, Co Kerry on Wednesday 22 January.
