Gardaí in Co Galway are appealing for witnesses after a woman in her 20s was assaulted in the Ballybrit area of the city yesterday.
The incident happened in the Ballybrit Heights estate at around 5:30am.
The woman in question was treated in hospital for non-life-threatening injuries.
Detectives investigating the incident have asked motorists who may have dash cam footage that might assist the inquiry to contact them.
In particular, they are seeking any recordings made between 5:15am and 5:45am yesterday morning on either the Monivea Road or the Ballybane More Road.
The routes in question border the area where the assault took place.
