A search for a fisherman, missing since Friday afternoon in Co Mayo, has been called off for the night.
It will resume tomorrow morning, subject to favourable weather conditions.
The 78-year-old is thought to have got into difficulties when negotiating a section of Lough Mask.
The search effort on the lake was hampered by poor weather conditions over the weekend.
Extensive shoreline searches have been carried out in recent days.
Local volunteers assisted gardaí in today’s operation.
A team of divers from the Garda Sub Aqua unit also joined the search.
