There is still no sign of two missing Coast Guard crew members after the wreckage of their rescue helicopter was lifted from the sea off Blackrock Island in Co Mayo.
The aircraft was taken from the water this evening and placed on board the Irish Lights vessel, the Granuaile.
Almost three weeks after Rescue 116 crashed into Blackrock, the helicopter was lifted from the sea bed in a lengthy operation this afternoon.
After conditions around the island improved marginally, Naval Service divers were able to attach lifting equipment to the wreckage this morning.
That enabled search co-ordinators to begin the process of bringing the aircraft to the surface.

It was hoisted from a depth of 40 metres by a specially hired tug, the Ocean Challenger.
From there it was transferred onto the Granuaile where it will be subjected to detailed examination by Air Accident Investigation Unit inspectors.
But the torturous wait for the families of Paul Ormsby and Ciaran Smith continues as there is still no sign of them almost three weeks after the crash.
Search agencies have said their efforts will continue as long as there is hope of locating the crew members.
The body of Mark Duffy was recovered from the wreckage recently and Dara Fitzpatrick died a short time after being rescued after the crash on 14 March.
The Air Accident Investigation Unit has said there was no indication of any mechanical problems in the seconds before the impact.
It is thought the inquiry into the cause of the crash on is now likely to focus on operational issues.
This will take in a number of separate headings, as investigators analyse the flight recorder for any indications of what went wrong.
Investigators are likely to look at things like human behaviour, navigational equipment and procedural issues, in an effort to identify the exact reasons why Rescue 116 crashed.
