A man in his 30s who was assaulted in Blanchardstown at the weekend has died.
The man, who had been in a critical condition since Sunday, died in hospital earlier today.
Two teenage boys are due to appear in court this evening charged in connection with the serious assault.
The boys, aged in their mid-teens, were arrested yesterday and questioned in a garda station in west Dublin.
The man in his 30s was found in an unresponsive state on Mill Road in Blanchardstown at 4.20 on Sunday afternoon.
Gardaí made appeals for information saying they wanted to hear from anyone who was on Mill Road between 4pm and 4.30pm on Sunday to contact them.
