Watch: Baby from The Snapper welcomes baby of her own

The baby from the film 'The Snapper' has said the film has become her "good luck charm" as she welcomed baby number two just days after seeing the iconic movie on television.

Alannagh McMullan was one of two babies who played the part of Georgina Curley in the film from 33 years ago.

Last night, she gave birth to her second little boy, Jamie, at the National Maternity Hospital, Holles Street.

Jamie arrived just days after the family watched The Snapper on television, and the film had also been on when her first son was born.

"It's a full-circle moment that I was born in Holles Street and was the baby in The Snapper and now they've another little baby born by The Snapper," Ms McMullan told RTÉ News.
