So-called 'pints and ponytails' events have been popping up in Dublin, Cork, Limerick and elsewhere.
Men get some hands-on tips from a hair professional, as well as the chance to have a chat - and a pint, if they wish - with other fathers.
While classes like this aren't new, they have recently gained in popularity after the hosts of The Secret Life of Dads podcast, Lawrence Price and Mathew Lewis-Carter, started running their own events in the UK.
Videos from their events have gone viral, including a post on Instagram with more than 26 million views.
