Watch: Students excited for Stripe Young Scientist and Technology Exhibition

Students from across Ireland will arrive at the RDS in Dublin this week for the 2026 Stripe Young Scientist and Technology Exhibition.

The event showcases 550 projects from schools around the country and thousands of students are expected to attend.

Eileen O'Mara, chief revenue officer at Stripe, said the company is "thrilled" to kick off the exhibition as its title sponsor for the first time.

"The students are putting the final touches on an incredible array of projects, from AI-powered medical diagnosis to new types of energy," she said.

"This competition is an important launch pad for every student that takes part, and a real accelerator for Irish science and technology."

These students from Luttrellstown Community College in Dublin are excited to see what this year’s event has in store.
