The author of the review into the CervicalCheck controversy Dr Gabriel Scally is to meet women and families affected by the crisis this evening, to discuss his report and the implementation of his findings.
The meeting will take place in private in Dublin.
Further meetings are being planned for Cork and Galway at later dates.
Dr Scally has invited women who have been affected, as well as family members of those who are deceased, to the meeting this evening.
He has said it would not be appropriate to have legal representatives in attendance.
People have been asked to indicate their attendance in advance and can bring a friend for support.
Dr Scally has told families that he wishes to keep these meetings private from the general public and the media, for reasons of privacy and to allow people to share their stories if they wish.
Women or families who cannot attend this or other meetings can still contact Dr Scally at scallyreview@crowehorwath.ie
Tomorrow, Dr Scally is due to appear for the first time before the Oireachtas Joint Committee on Health to discuss his report.
Minister for Health Simon Harris is to meet Dr Scally tomorrow.
Mr Harris said he wanted to discuss with Dr Scally the role he may wish to play in overseeing the implementation of the 50 recommendations in his report.
The Minister will also discuss some of the next steps, outlined in the Scally report, including examining the outsourcing by former screening provider, CPL of some screening to labs in Texas, Hawaii and Florida.
Minister Harris said Dr Scally is expected to make himself available for the next 12 months in relation to cervical screening issues.
