Members of the Oireachtas Public Accounts committee have received a dossier containing allegations regarding the sale of NAMA's Northern Ireland loan book known as Project Eagle.

It is understood members received a lever arch folder of documents during the week.

The committee has already published a report on the sale. It is expected to consider whether it will further examine the matter next week.

A commission of investigation was established by the Government in June 2017 to look at the disposal by NAMA of its Northern Ireland Loan portfolio. It is currently investigating the matter.

The Sinn Féin TD David Cullinane issued a statement today saying he will be calling on the Public Accounts Committee to bring the author of the statements in the dossier before the Committee to discuss them in the context of its report into Project Eagle.

He said the dossier also contained transcripts of recordings with Anglo Irish Bank officials, as well as others related to the sale of Project Eagle.
