A global technology company in Dublin is to create 100 jobs.
Pitney Bowes is to open a new operations centre which will also be home to a three-year multi-million euro research and development project.
New York Stock Exchange-listed Pitney Bowes makes e-commerce software.
It already has a global e-commerce centre in Dublin which supports cross-border retail for many of its clients.
The expansion will see it hire new staff to research and design a new generation e-commerce and payments platform here.
The office will also be home to a client support centre with further new positions in areas such as technical support and customer service that will cater for customers in the UK, Ireland and Nordic regions.
The company said it had chosen Dublin for its rich mix of talent and language skills, and because of the support it has received from State agencies such as the IDA.
The development has been welcomed by Minister for Jobs Mary Mitchell-O'Connor and IDA Ireland.
