Ten suspected drug dealers have been arrested in Dundalk, Co Louth during an operation targeting street dealers and their suppliers.
Over 30 suspected dealers have been targeted as part of the investigation which involved buying drugs on the streets and subsequently prosecuting suppliers.
Local gardaí were backed-up by regional support units and the Drugs and Organised Crime Bureau.
Heroin, cocaine, cannabis and prescription drugs were seized.
Gardaí say the operation is focused on the main drug dealers in Dundalk and those who sell drugs for them on the streets.
Those arrested are to be charged with drugs offences and are due to appear in court tomorrow.
