Up to €100,000 is reported to have been stolen in a raid on an ATM in Greystones, Co Wicklow.

The incident happened at around 4.20am at an ATM attached to the Permanent TSB branch in the town.

The ATM was extensively damaged in the raid.

Gardaí have not confirmed the amount of money stolen.
