A man from Holland who was found in a luxury Dublin apartment linked to the Kinahan organised crime gang is wanted by Dutch authorities on charges of assault, money laundering and possession of false documents.

Naoufal Fassih was brought before a High Court judge on foot of a European arrest warrant this afternoon and remanded in custody.

Earlier, another High Court judge rejected his claim that he had been unlawfully detained and refused to release him.

Mr Justice Seamus Noonan ruled the 36-year-old was not being denied justice and that a District Court judge who refused him bail last week was legally entitled to do so.

It was Mr Fassih's third appearance before three different courts today.

The High Court was also told that he had applied again for bail this morning at another District Court hearing and was refused.
