Three men have been arrested as part of the investigation into the shooting of a 55-year-old man in Limerick last year.
Christy Keane was seriously injured in the attack on 29 June 2015.
The senior member of one of the families involved in a long running gang-related feud in Limerick was on his way to the gym at the University of Limerick Sports arena when he was shot a number of times as he got out of his car in the arena's car park.
Three men, two aged in their 30s and one in his 50s, were arrested today are being questioned at a number of Garda stations in the city.
Their arrests brings to nine the number of people arrested in connection with the attack on Mr Keane.
