Google has added indoor maps for a whole series of buildings in Ireland to its maps service.

The Guinness Storehouse, National Museum, airports, stadiums, universities, shopping centres and train stations are among the more than 40 indoor spaces now mapped by the app.

The spaces can be accessed by zooming in on maps until an indoor floor plan becomes visible.

Different floors can then be chosen using the floor picker.

The tool is available on Google Maps for Android, iOS and desktop.
