An actor has pleaded not guilty to attacking a woman in Dublin.
David Murray, 44, appeared at Dublin District Court accused of assaulting a woman at a flat in Grosvenor Square in Rathmines on 5 October 2013.
Defence solicitor Matthew De Courcy told Judge Ann Ryan that there was a not guilty plea and asked for a hearing date in the New Year to be set.
The district court trial will last about an hour and it was expected that there would be one or two witnesses, the solicitor told Judge Ryan.
Judge Ryan was told that no CCTV evidence would be used and she adjourned the case for a week to fix a hearing date.
No evidence relating to the allegation has been given so far in the proceedings.
The Cork-born actor stars in 'The Guarantee', playing former finance minister Brian Lenihan and also had a major role in the TV series 'Amber'.
He has also appeared in a number of films including 'Batman Begins' and 'King Arthur'.
