A death of a man whose remains were found at a recycling centre in Dublin last summer is being treated as suspicious by gardaí.
The remains of 37-year-old Mark Burke were found at Thornton's recycling centre in Ballyfermot on 31 July.
Mr Burke was identified through DNA.
His last known address was Bentley House in Dún Laoghaire, which provides short-term accommodation for homeless people.
It is not known when Mr Burke was last seen alive.
His family reported him missing recently and have today appealed for privacy.
Gardaí are appealing for anyone with information to contact Ballyfermot Garda Station on 01-6667200, the Garda Confidential Line 1800-666-111 or any garda station.
