A total of 90 new jobs have been announced for Galway city at two tech firms.
Technology company Avaya plans to add 75 jobs at its facility in the Mervue area of the city.
The majority of the positions will be in research and development, with the remainder in operations, orders and finance.
The company has had a presence in Galway for many years. It makes business communications systems.
Today's announcement will bring to around 500 the number of people employed by Avaya in the city.
IDA Chief Executive Martin Shanahan said the company's expansion was a vote of confidence in the region and showed the area's ongoing ability to attract high-end jobs in the technology sector.
