About 600 cannabis plants have been seized at a house in Co Clare.
Gardaí also found evidence of more than 500 harvested plants.
Subject to analysis, the drugs seized may have a street value of almost €500,000
The find was part of a garda operation targeting the cultivation of cannabis that led to a house at Breaffa, Carraigaholt, being searched yesterday.
The scene remains preserved and a technical examination of the area is being carried out.
There have been no arrests.
