Gardaí investigating the murder of Sandra Collins in 2000 have arrested a man in his 40s.
The 29-year-old was last seen in the Killala area of Co Mayo in December 2000.
The man is being held at Ballina Garda Station and is due to appear before a special sitting of Ballina District Court at 11am tomorrow morning charged in connection with the murder.
