A former Bosnian Serb general, accused of genocide for helping to organise the massacre at Srebrenica in 1995, has been sentenced to life in prison.

Zdravko Tolimir was the assistant commander for Intelligence and Security, when an estimated 8,000 Muslim boys and men were killed at the eastern Bosnian town.
