A murder investigation is under way into the fatal shooting of a 30-year-old man in the village of Golden, Co Tipperary.
The victim, Shane Rossiter from Clonmel town, had previously been convicted of drug dealing.
It is understood a number of men went to a house in the village at around 6.45am.
Gunmen knocked at the door and started shooting when it was opened by Mr Rossiter.
He was hit in the stomach and died a short time later in hospital.
There were four other people in the house at the time and gardaí say they are waiting to take statements from them.
The Rossiter family have said they are distraught at his killing. Another of their sons, Brian, died ten years ago after being found unconscious in Clonmel Garda Station.
