A 20-year-old man has been charged with the murder of a man in Co Armagh last weekend.

David Neill, 46, was stabbed in the chest outside his home at Parkmore in Craigavon, Co Armagh in the early hours of last Sunday morning and died a short time later.

Police arrested three men, including a teenager, in connection with the attack.

Two of the suspects were released, while the third appeared in court this morning charged with Mr Neill's murder.

Daniel McCartney, whose address was not given in court, denied stabbing Mr McNeill.

His solicitor said his client could give an account of his movements which did not place him at the scene of the killing.

A PSNI detective said they had witnesses who would give a counter view to this.

Mr McCartney was remanded in custody.
