A 21-year-old man has appeared before Dublin District Court charged in connection with the death of a father of three, aged in his late 30s.
Jason Flannery was found dead close to his home in Ballymun in Dublin in the early hours of Thursday morning.
This morning David Brannock, of St Joseph's Way in Ballymun, was remanded in custody to Cloverhill Prison until Tuesday.
The court heard that he made no reply when charged with a non-fatal offence against the person and with a firearms offence.
He was cautioned and charged at 5.45pm yesterday in Ballymun Garda Station.
He appeared in court this morning wearing black tracksuit bottoms and a white top.
