Gardaí have concluded a search of the drain and tunnel network around Dublin Castle this evening.
Two men were reported to have entered a manhole on Ship Street Little, outside a gate to Dublin Castle, last night.
The investigation is ongoing.
Last night it was reported that two men had put a ladder into the manhole and climbed down into the drain.
