A man in his 30s is being questioned over an armed robbery in Dublin last night.
The man entered a shop on James Street shortly before 10pm and threatened two staff members with a syringe.
A struggle is believed to have taken place and the man was arrested at the scene.
He was later taken to St James’s Hospital where he was treated for a leg injury.
Gardaí said a staff member aged in his 30s collapsed and was taken to St James’s Hospital, where he is said to be in a serious condition.
