Two women have been charged in connection with the stabbing of a man in the Ballymurphy area of west Belfast yesterday.

The 23-year-old man suffered stab wounds to his stomach after the incident at his home in Sliabh Dubh View just before 4am.

The women, aged 30 and 32, are due to appear in court tomorrow.

A 48-year-old man who was being questioned has been released on bail pending further enquiries.

The stabbing victim was taken to hospital after the attack, but his injuries are not believed to be life-threatening.
