A man has been arrested following the seizure of cannabis plants and growing equipment in Co Galway.
The discovery was made at a property at Clovewood, Derrylissane in Menlough this afternoon.
Around 800 cannabis plants, with an estimated value of €640,000, along with cultivation equipment were found during the search.
The man who is in his late 20s was arrested at the scene and is being held at Galway Garda Station.
