Man in court in connection with raid in Pallasgreen, Limerick

A man has appeared in court charged in connection with a raid on a house in Pallasgreen, Co Limerick, last April.

John Cahill of Hillview Grove, Doon, Co Limerick, is charged with impeding the arrest of another person during an aggreviated burglary at Sunville House, Pallasgreen.

The incident took place on 16 April last, during which a man, his wife and four children were held up.

Limerick District Court was told today that the accused man made no reply when charged last night.

John Cahill was granted free legal aid and remanded in custody until 19 June.

An application to release him on bail will be made to Limerick District Court.

Two other men have already appeared in court on charges connected to the same raid.
