Another director resigns from Independent News & Media board

Another director has resigned from the board of Independent News & Media, reducing the size of the board below the minimum level required of five directors.

The company has announced that 64-year-old David Reid-Scott has resigned as a Director of the Company with immediate effect.

In a statement it said: "As the number of Directors of the Company has now fallen below the minimum level of five required under the Company's Articles of Association the Company confirms that steps will be taken as soon as practicable to make additional appointment(s) to the Board".
