Two men have appeared at a special sitting of Sligo District Court charged in connection with the seizure of cannabis.
The drugs were seized in Co Donegal on 25 May.
The men were charged with possession with intent to supply and cultivation of cannabis at Trummon, Laghey, Co Donegal.
The pair were remanded in custody at Castlerea Prison to appear in court again next Friday.
Separately, two men have appeared at the District Court charged in connection with a major drugs find in Limerick on Friday night.
45-year-old Shane Ferguson of Mill Road, Corbally, Limerick, and 36-year-old Kieran Nevin of St Mary's Park in Limerick, were each charged with possession of a quantity of cannabis resin, and with having it for sale or supply at Annagh, Lisnagry on 25 May.
Shane Ferguson, who the court heard was in poor health and was on disability payments, was refused bail and remanded in custody to appear in court again on 31 May.
Kieran Nevin, an unemployed carpenter, was remanded in custody with consent to bail on his own surety of €5,000 and one independent surety of €40,000, half of which must be approved by the court.
He was also ordered to sign on daily at Henry Street Garda Station and surrender his passport. He is also due to appear in court again next Thursday.
The question of free legal aid was reserved by Judge Aneas McCarthy until a statement of means by both men is lodged in court.
