A spokeswoman for the Broadcasting Authority of Ireland has said the organisation stands over its report on the Prime Time Investigates ''Mission to Prey'' programme.
In response to a call from the National Union of Journalists for the BAI to publish all documents relating to its investigation into the programme, the spokeswoman said the BAI had no plans to publish anything other than the report.
The NUJ said all the documents should be made public so that what it called selectively leaked documents could be put in context.
NUJ secretary Seamus Dooley was commenting on an article in today's Irish Times.
It contained details of submissions made to the BAI by members of the RTÉ Prime Time Investigates Team, in which they criticised the report as inaccurate, unfair and incomplete.
The BAI announced last week that it was to impose a €200,000 fine on RTÉ for what it said were serious breaches of the Broadcasting Act 2009.
The association’s report related to a Prime Time Investigates programme which it said contained serious, damaging and untrue allegations about its subject; Fr Kevin Reynolds.
