An Army bomb disposal team has made safe a suspicious device found in Tallaght early this morning.
The device was found underneath a car in Killakee Drive off the Greenhills road at around 3am.
The Army team made the device safe at around 5am.
A number of residents were evacuated from their homes during the incident, but have since been allowed to return.
The device has been removed for a forensic investigation.
