The European Space Agency has approved a new mission to explore the moons of Jupiter.

It says a probe - called Juice - will be launched in ten years' time and should arrive at the planet by the year 2030.

The craft will study three of Jupiter's biggest moons (Europa, Ganymede and Callisto), which are icy and believed to have internal oceans.

The agency says the mission will look at whether there is any possibility that these moons could host microbial life.
