A national helpline for lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender people is looking for volunteers to staff its service.
The LGBT helpline is currently open 16 hours a week, but wants to double its hours so it can answer more calls.
Organisers are launching a recruitment drive today for volunteers from among the LGBT community.
National helpline co-ordinator Paula Fagan said there is a broad demand for the service from both LGBT people and their loved-ones.
