Mobile network O2 has said it is to seek 120 voluntary redundancies.
At present O2 employs 1,100 staff in Ireland.
In a statement, the company said it was a “difficult decision” to take.
It came after “a comprehensive review of the business which has identified a need to reduce its cost base including employee numbers”.
