A man in his 30s has died following a shooting incident in south Belfast.
He was shot a number of times in the College Square North area of the city shortly before 9.30pm last night.
The victim is not thought to be a member of the PSNI or British Army and there is no indication that there was a sectarian motive behind the murder.
The scene has been sealed off and police have appealed for any witnesses to come forward.
