A Limerick mother-of-five has told the Special Criminal Court that a 33-year-old man walked into her home and threatened that he and his brother would shoot two of her sons.
Alice Collins told three judges that Wayne Dundon told her in September 2010 that she was "digging her own grave" and that "it was very easy to make people disappear.''
Limerick brothers Wayne and John Dundon deny a total of nine charges of intimidation and threatening to kill or cause serious harm to two potential witnesses and members of their family.
Ms Collins took the stand this morning to give evidence against the Dundons.
She told the court that 33-year-old Wayne Dundon walked into her home on 30 September 2010 after a number of women, including his brother John's partner, had attacked her car and threw missiles at her.
Ms Collins said Wayne Dundon told her that John Dundon was not happy and that he would hunt people down if his wife goes to jail.
She said Wayne Dundon said "our John could give some fool €10,000 to shoot and kill your Jimmy."
Ms Collins said she then asked Wayne Dundon why he was picking on her son Jimmy - who was very quiet.
She said Wayne replied that "our John wouldn't see it like that" and then threatened to kill her other son Gareth.
"Gareth will be standing in front of me," she claims he said, "he'll look into my face and it'll be the last face he'll see cos (sic) I'll kill him myself."
Ms Collins told the court that Wayne Dundon's parting words to her as he walked out of her home were "your digging your own grave, its very easy to make people disappear."
The trial continues.
