Three men are being sought following a post office raid in Gowran, Co Kilkenny, yesterday.
The men, who were wearing balaclavas and armed with what is believed to be a pick axe, entered the post office at around 9.30am.
The postmaster was injured during the robbery in which a sum of money was taken.
The raiders escaped in a silver car which was later found burnt out.
No arrests have been made.
