A man in his 30s was treated at Sligo General Hospital for non life-threatening injuries following a shooting in Tubbercurry, Co Sligo.
The man received a gunshot wound to his face at around 8pm yesterday evening at Connolly Park.
The scene has been preserved for a technical examination.
A man in his 30s was arrested at the scene and is currently detained at Ballymote Garda Station.
