A 26-year-old man is being treated in hospital after a stabbing incident in the Ballybrack area of Dublin this morning.
The attack happened at 12.45am at a house in Ashlawn Park.
The man was brought to St Vincent's Hospital where he remains in a serious but stable condition.
No arrests have been made and gardaí are appealing for witnesses.
The scene has been preserved for a technical examination.
