A man is still being questioned about the attempted abduction of a young girl in Co Offaly last week.
The 13-year-old suffered minor injuries when she was assaulted near the village of Ferbane on 19 July.
She ran to a neighbour’s house and raised the alarm.
The 42-year-old was arrested in Tramore, Co Waterford, early this morning.
